Great things happen...

I love when great things happen.  I really love when great things happen on top of other great things.  I think it is amazing when great things continuously happen.

So what's the story?

Well, since you asked :)

A great local company gave us a great deal on a trailer that we can use to assist in disaster areas.  We have previously helped in Oklahoma and Missouri after tornados.  This great local company did everything it could to keep the price low.  The issue was, even after all of their assistance we were still $700 over budget.  Trusting it would all work out, we ordered the trailer and asked a few friends to chip in.  After a few friends chipped in, we were still $400 short... anxiety started kicking in.

On Monday, I received a call from the great local company - our trailer was in!  Awesome... or Uh Oh! Monday was crazy, I didn't get a chance to return the call... Tuesday, I returned the call and was excited to finally get our new trailer.  The great local guy that works at the great local company told me that he needed to talk to me about the price.  He couldn't figure out where, but the cost was different from the original quote.

Pause - Nervousness - Time Stood Still

He continued by telling me that the cost of the trailer was actually about $300 less than originally quoted.

Relief - Excitement - Disbelief

So, the total needed to close the deal was $103 and some change and there were two friends left that were going to contribute.  The trailer was officially covered!

For those that didn't hear the Oklahoma story, on the way down we had three tire problems...two of which needed service from companies in two different states.  Both companies ended up charging only for materials and not a cent for labor...their contribution to the cause.
