Education (Post 9)

Education Draft 1

Anyone interested in my children’s education while abroad?  Feel free to comment below.  This is the first draft of our curriculum for the kids.

Reading:  30 minutes daily for enjoyment
Writing:  Write a blog post daily on a personal blog (Typing too)
Math:  Study of Math Facts (+,-,x, divide, etc), Money, Exchange rates, Sales, Kiosk work
Phy Ed:  Walk, Run, Bike, Soccer
Science:  Environmental Science, Tree nursery, reforestation, climate, birds, animals, habitats, gardening, biogas, food science, butter, cheese, evapocooler
Social Studies:  Culture, American History discussion
Langage:  Study of Swahili, Tribal Language
Religon:  Daily Devotion, Bible Stories, Daily Bible Reading
Art:  Sketch Journal, Crafts, Painting, Banana Prints
Music:  Singing, Praise and Worship, Cultural Dance, Local Music
Online classes for Marquite

What else would you add do?

What ideas do you have for a routine?  Is a routine beneficial?

How would you include experts?  Local experts (swahili)?  Global experts (Facetime/Skype)?
